RataPlan (Monster)

On the ground floor are clothes, textiles, toys, curio cabinets, sports and sometimes bicycles. You will also find shoes, bags, suitcases, toys, LPs, CDs and DVDs. Television sets and used bicycles can also be found here. Downstairs you will find furniture, cupboards, books, white goods such as refrigerators and washing machines.

RataPlan is the largest recycling chain in the Netherlands. It has 30 thrift stores in North Holland, South Holland, and Flevoland where you can find secondhand books, electronics, furniture, lighting, and clothing.

The purpose of the thrift shops and bicycle sheds is to offer work to people who are at a great distance from the labor market. Together with you, RataPlan gives people and the environment a second chance and ensures more employment, reuse, and a cleaner world.
